Desiree & Joe - Western Cape Portrait Photography

I met Des via email when she first contacted me to find out if I would do a couple shoot for them. They were planning on traveling to the Western Cape for a vacation and wanted to do get some fun pictures taking to close of their trip. I am so honored that I could be part of this event in their lives and I know they will always remember how much fun we had when they look at the photos in future years to come. Des and Joe, I hope I get to meet up with you some day again...

 

Tarryn - Western Cape Portrait Photography

I had a really awesome shoot with Tarryn a few months back. I actually saw this spot one day when we went to the crocodile farm in Simondium. Back then the whole area was filled with yellow flowers (no idea what type it was) and I wanted it as a backdrop for Tarryn's shoot. Unfortunately when we got there the day of the shoot all the flowers was gone and all that was left over was weeds. Never the less the Franschoek mountains made a stunning backdrop and once the sun went down all the wind also died down.Tarryn looked stunning as always. You might think that she has a career in modeling but this lady is getting her science degree at Stellenbosch University. A little bit of a smarty pants if you ask me...hehehe

Cherisse - Durbanville

Cherisse came all the way from Langebaan to do a shoot with me. She is thinking about starting a modelling career and want to build up a portfolio. I have heard of this nice place to take portrait shoots called Magic Forest, so we went there to see what spots we can find. We had lots of fun scouting the forest and climbing through trees to get to beautiful spots we can see from a distance. We did many close ups where her blue eyes just pop in the perfect surrounding light that the trees provided.
After wards we went to do a bikini shoot on a beach between Melbosstrand & Blouberg. The sun was setting very fast and the air was getting chilly but Cherisse braved it till we got all the shots.

Tarryn's Matric Dance

My boyfriend's little sister is all grown up and oh my how beautiful she is. I don't think I have ever seen her in a dress but she looked so comfortable in front of the camera when I took photos of her before the Matric Dance. Good luck with your finals hunny and BTW you should think about modelling cause you are stunning!

Marloe & Devon - Cape Town

I'm shooting Marloe & David's wedding in November so we met up with them at the famous Fire & Ice Hotel in Cape Town for a sexy e-shoot. It was pretty cold that day but Marloe still looked great in her very hot red dress that went perfect with the stunning decor of the hotel. Afterwards the couple bared it out in the cold at a local park for some cute shots. Looking forward to your wedding guys!

Suze & Neil - Somerset West

I met up with Suze & Neil at their stunning house in Somerset West for a couples shoot. Their are moving to America and wanted to leave their family here in South Africa some nice photos of them.
We first took some shots at their house with their adorable little doggy. They designed the house themselves and you can see how much they love their home. After the shoot at the house we went done to Strand Beach were we took some couple photos. It was a perfect day and the backdrops of the mountains and the ocean made it very special. Good luck with your future in America, Suze & Neil. I'm sure your family & friends will miss you dearly.

Juanita & Lemarc

 This young couple is so adorable and I have the privilege of knowing them personally. The have the cutest nicknames for each other too! I really had fun with this shoot cause it was my first picnic themed one and you will see in the pics that they enjoyed it too! The place where we had the shoot looks like a forest but its actually just off a main road in Eversdal. Very cool place for any king of shoot! Enjoy the rest of the photos everyone.

Megan & Darren

Megan have been a family friend of ours for so long that she is practically my cousin. Darren & Megan has been together for also some time and you can see how their relationship still grow everyday. The are both really fun loving people and it was great to take a couple shoot of them. Unfortunately the "Cape Town" wind was blowing and made it a tiny bit uncomfortable but at the end I got some nice relaxed photos of the couple. I hope that I will have the honor one day of being your wedding photographer guys! No pressure! :)

Michaela & Faan - Langebaan

Michaela is my beautiful sister & Faan is her handsome horse. We had the photoshoot on a small holding in Langebaan where Faan was living for awhile. Faan is a very relaxed and layed back horse & I think he loved the camera's attention. You will see what I mean in the photos.
