Megan and Darren said I do on 12 April 2014 at Laatson Porterville. This venue is very unique as it has a beautiful mountain as backdrop and also plenty of challets on the premises to make your special day a weekend affair. That is exactly what Megan and Darren wanted for their close family and friends. All the guests had so much fun and danced till early morning. Megan and Darren, I wish you the best for the future. Kimi and Chase, Boesmanland Farm Kitchen - Western Cape Wedding Photography

Kimi and Chase said "I do" at the beautiful Boesmanland Farm Kitchen in Langebaan. They had a morning wedding which was perfect cause the famous lagoon wind was still sleeping. We had so much fun with their e-shoot that they decided to bring some props along for the wedding too. You will see these in the bridal party photos we took on the beach. Kimi and Chase, you were really made for each other and everyone could see and feel how special you are to one another. Hope you have many special moments like this throught your marraige.

Kimi and I had our first conversation last year via email. We immediately clicked and instantly became friends. We had so much fun with their engagement shoot that we planned for months. The first part of the shoot was done at Altydgedacht and the last part at the Wijnland Auto Museum. The auto museum has fancy vintage cars which can be hired for weddings and matric dances. I am so lucky to have clients like Kimi and Chase and even luckier to call them friends now.

Odette & Jacque Save the date - Western Cape Potrait Photographer

Odette and I met a couple of years ago and have been friends ever since so she asked me to be her photographer on her special day in April 2014. We arranged to do a engagement shoot around Joostenberg Vlakte in remote areas with lots of greenery and nature elements. They had lots of fun climbing in the trees and making funny faces. Can't wait to see how much fun and exciting their wedding is going to be.

I met Des via email when she first contacted me to find out if I would do a couple shoot for them. They were planning on traveling to the Western Cape for a vacation and wanted to do get some fun pictures taking to close of their trip. I am so honored that I could be part of this event in their lives and I know they will always remember how much fun we had when they look at the photos in future years to come. Tarryn - Western Cape Portrait Photography

I had a really awesome shoot with Tarryn a few months back. I actually saw this spot one day when we went to the crocodile farm in Simondium. Back then the whole area was filled with yellow flowers (no idea what type it was) and I wanted it as a backdrop for Tarryn's shoot. Unfortunately when we got there the day of the shoot all the flowers was gone and all that was left over was weeds. Never the less the Franschoek mountains made a stunning backdrop and once the sun went down all the wind also died down.Tarryn looked stunning as always. You might think that she has a career in modeling but this lady is getting her science degree at Stellenbosch University. A little bit of a smarty pants if you ask me...hehehe

Baby girl Eva - Western Cape Newborn Photography

I had the pleasure of doing one of cutest little girl's first photo shoot last Saturday. Her name is Eva and she lives with her mommy & daddy in Cape Town. I really enjoyed getting beautiful shots of her and loved the fact that she did some funny faces for me too. Thanks Karina & Jason for helping me during the shoot. You guys ROCK!

Baby Boy Cruz - Western Cape Newborn Photograhy

I met up with little baby Cruz and his gorgeous mommy for his first professional portrait shoot. He was so excited about being in the spot light that he didn't want to sleep for us. All and all it was a pretty great shoot if you look at the cute shots I got of him. Thanks for being such a good model baby Cruz, hopefully it won't be the first and last time I can come and play with you!

Megan & Darren - Save the date photoshoot - Western Cape Portrait Photography

This was my first "save the date" shoot. It's basically an engagement shoot but it's called save the date because we used the photos to make save the date cards for Megan & Darren's wedding to send out to their guests. We did the shoot in Joostenberg Vlakte, Western Cape at the Wijnland Auto Museum and then moved to the train tracks running along Joostenberg Vlakte. We wanted to get a vintage feel for the shoot because their wedding's theme is also vintage. I can't wait for their wedding in April 2014 that I will also be shooting. Helen & Jaan - Waschklip Langebaan

This was one of my favorite weddings that I have done so far. Helen and Jaan said I do at Waschklip and since their engagement shoot I could see why everyone loved them so much. Helen is such a creative person, I loved having her input in this wedding. She & Jaan planned and created every decoration they had on the tables. You will see how amazing it is if you view the full post.This whole wedding was so layed back and comfortable, every single person made me feel like I was part of the family. The Louw family - Melkbosstrand

You will see that I've done a photo shoot of this family last year, but this time it was a special shoot because they immigrated to Australia and wanted some last minute shoot. We decided to go to Melkbosstrand and it was so windy that they will never forgot it.

So ... one beautiful Sunday I met up with Werner & Surine at their house to have a Christmas shoot with their adorable little girl Animieke. This family is so cute and photogenic, the perfect little family and I'm so glad to have them in my life.

Cherisse - Durbanville

Cherisse came all the way from Langebaan to do a shoot with me. She is thinking about starting a modelling career and want to build up a portfolio. I have heard of this nice place to take portrait shoots called Magic Forest, so we went there to see what spots we can find. We had lots of fun scouting the forest and climbing through trees to get to beautiful spots we can see from a distance. We did many close ups where her blue eyes just pop in the perfect surrounding light that the trees provided.
After wards we went to do a bikini shoot on a beach between Melbosstrand & Blouberg. The sun was setting very fast and the air was getting chilly but Cherisse braved it till we got all the shots.

Tarryn's Matric Dance

My boyfriend's little sister is all grown up and oh my how beautiful she is. I don't think I have ever seen her in a dress but she looked so comfortable in front of the camera when I took photos of her before the Matric Dance. Good luck with your finals hunny and BTW you should think about modelling cause you are stunning!

Marloe & Devon - Cape Town

I'm shooting Marloe & David's wedding in November so we met up with them at the famous Fire & Ice Hotel in Cape Town for a sexy e-shoot. It was pretty cold that day but Marloe still looked great in her very hot red dress that went perfect with the stunning decor of the hotel. Afterwards the couple bared it out in the cold at a local park for some cute shots. Looking forward to your wedding guys!
